Dr. Shernaz B. García is a faculty member with the Multicultural/Bilingual Special Education program in the Department, and a Fellow in the John Pier Eben Endowment for Education. Her research and teaching interests focus on cultural influences on teaching and learning, factors contributing to educational risk for culturally/linguistically diverse students, prevention and early intervention for language minority students, family-professional partnerships, and personnel preparation.
