INTERNSHIP ACTION PLAN

Kinesiology and Health Education students are encouraged to pursue internship opportunities for career development. Internships combine academic learning with supervised career-related work experience and serve as a link from the classroom to the workplace. Many employers look for field experience in the form of internships. In some cases, course credit is given for the successful completion of an internship that meets certain requirements. This timeline will be helpful in securing an internship and gaining valuable experience in the industry.

Come to the KHE fair anyway! Find out what organizations are attending and the types of jobs and internships that are being offered. Make a list of those organizations that stand out to you and contact them later - follow up with an informational interview.
