Credential Files

The Education Career Services Center as a result of the almost exclusive use of electronic résumés and applications, no longer maintains credential files for UT College of Education students. Below are some excellent options:

Career Exploration Center

Current UT Austin students can open a credential file through the Career Exploration Center.

Self-Managed Files

If you wish to self-manage your credentials, you could pay to use an online service. You would send your letters, transcripts, student teaching evaluation or any other information that you would like stored in your file to the online service, and that online service would mail your credentials to schools at your request. For more information about an online service, including fees, visit Interfolio (NOTE: The Office of Career Services does not endorse Interfolio or any other online service or have any type of professional affiliation with any online service. Online service for credentials is presented to educators for the purpose of offering alternatives for handling education credentials.)
