Out with the Analog, In with the Digital - Distance Learning Classroom Goes High Definition!
The Learning Technology Center is putting the final touches on the first major system overhaul of its Distance Learning Classroom (DLC) since its construction in 1998. Analog cameras, control systems, document camera, video monitors, and most other system components were replaced with high definition (HD) digital equipment during the semester break.

New Digital Video Cameras Available for Checkout
The LTC's Equipment Checkout service has some great new digital video cameras available for checkout. The Sanyo Xacti is capable of shooting HD and standard video and can even capture great slow motion.

Johnson worked tirelessly for the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and his actions and decisions were crucial in its passage. Analyzing those decisions and actions and the motivations that influenced Johnson was the focus of the Presidential Timeline Teacher Institute, held July 9-12 and hosted by the College of Education's Learning Technology Center.
